This Masterclass will first plunge you into the brand’s universe with a guided visit of the Musée Atelier, which links the brand’s historical building to a contemporary glass spiral designed by BIG. There, some 300 watches tell of the technical and aesthetic richness of the timepieces that have been crafted in the Vallée de Joux for over two centuries. Two traditional ateliers—Grandes Complications and Métiers d’Art—located at the heart of the spiral, give you unparalleled proximity to the Manufacture’s craftspeople at work.
After the museum visit, the Masterclass will proceed in a traditional workshop where you will sit at a workbench, like a true watchmaker. Guided by an expert, you will assembly the first hand-wound mechanism conceived and produced by the Manufacture. you will continue with the try of the most prestigious horological finishing techniques: chamfering, circular satin, satin brushing and driving in
